A stripped-back text block: one rich-text field, no size or alignment settings.

Use Rich text instead

This block renders its text in white with a fixed size, with no way to change either from the customizer. That makes it invisible on a light background. It’s a legacy block kept for compatibility with existing pages.

For anything new, use Rich text — it has the same editor plus per-breakpoint size and alignment control.

Setting	What it does
Title	The copy, using the standard rich-text editor. Nothing renders when it’s empty.

Where it’s used

Listed as an available block on Text & Image Split. If you find it in use somewhere on a dark background and it looks correct, leave it; if you’re adding new copy, reach for Rich text.
