Product Frequency
The two rows under the pack cards: One Time Purchase and Subscribe & Save. Choosing the subscription row shows the discounted price and sends the subscription along when the customer adds to cart.
Add it inside Product Main, below the pack selector.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Label | Small heading above the rows. Defaults to “Choose Frequency”. |
| One-time purchase label | Text on the first row. |
| Subscription label | Text on the second row. The discount is appended automatically, so “Subscribe & Save” renders as “Subscribe & Save 10%”. Don’t type the percentage in yourself. |
| Delivery frequency label | Label on the interval dropdown, which only appears in the case described below. |
| Preselect subscription | Starts the customer on the subscription option instead of one-time. Off by default. |
| Block ID | Optional anchor. |
How the delivery intervals work
Section titled “How the delivery intervals work”This is the part worth understanding, because it isn’t the same for every pack.
Subscriptions are set up in Shopify with several intervals — every 30, 90 and 180 days — but each pack size is only sold on one of them:
| Pack | Delivery interval |
|---|---|
| 1 Pack | Every 30 days |
| 3 Pack | Every 90 days |
| 6 Pack | Every 180 days |
The block reads what’s actually available for the selected variant, so a customer is never offered an interval they can’t buy. That means:
- One interval available → the row simply reads “Delivered every 30 days”. There’s nothing to choose, so there’s no dropdown.
- More than one available → a dropdown appears so the customer can pick.
- None available → the whole block hides and the product is one-time only.
Switching pack size re-reads all of this. If someone has the 1 Pack subscription selected and switches to the 3 Pack, the interval updates to every 90 days on its own.
Discounts
Section titled “Discounts”The percentage shown next to the subscription label, and the discounted price on the right of the row, both come from the subscription plan itself. There’s no setting for them, and editing the label text won’t change the maths.
