List Item
A single entry in a List. It can’t be added on its own — it only exists inside a List block.

The icon replaces the marker
Section titled “The icon replaces the marker”Set an icon and this item loses the dot or checkmark the rest of the list uses — the icon takes its place. Leave it empty and the item follows whatever marker the parent List is set to.
The icon is treated as decoration, so it isn’t described to screen readers. The text beside it has to carry the meaning on its own.
- Use small, square images for icons — they’re rendered at roughly 24px. A large photo will be shrunk to a smudge.
- Keep the text to a line or two. Long items are better as short paragraphs in a Rich text block.
- Line breaks inside an item get extra spacing rather than sitting tight — fine for a two-part item, but if you’re using several, the item probably wants splitting.
