Rich text

Formatted body copy — paragraphs, bold, italic, links, and lists — with size and alignment controls per breakpoint. This is the workhorse text block; use it for anything longer than a heading.

Setting What it does
Text The copy itself, with the standard rich-text editor (bold, italic, links, bullet and numbered lists).
Block ID Optional anchor ID, for linking directly to this block.
Mobile text style Size on small screens. Default MD. Options: Body (2XL, XL, XL ALT, LG, MD, SM, XS), Section Labels (LG, MD, SM, Tag), Quote (LG, MD). “Default” inherits the section’s text style.
Tablet text style Overrides the mobile size from 768px up. Default “Default”.
Desktop text style Overrides the tablet size from 1280px up. Default “Default”.
Text alignment (mobile) None (default), Left, Center, Right. “None” inherits the section’s alignment.
Text alignment Alignment on larger screens. “None” follows the mobile setting.

The block outputs nothing at all if the Text field is blank — no empty box, no spacing. Safe to leave in place while you’re drafting.

Mobile is the base; tablet applies from 768px, desktop from 1280px. Leaving tablet and desktop on “Default” means the mobile size applies everywhere, which is usually what you want.

  • Keep paragraphs short — two to four sentences. Long blocks get skimmed on mobile and summarised badly by AI search engines.
  • Write real link text. “Read the clinical review” beats “click here”, and it’s what a screen-reader user hears out of context.
  • For a bulleted list with checkmarks or icons, use the List block instead — it has proper marker styling. The editor’s plain bullet list is fine for simple runs of text.
