Feature

One item in the Features section: a square image, then a heading, description and optional buttons, all centred in a narrow column.

The four content pieces are fixed — they’re always there in that order, and you can’t reorder or remove them. You edit each one by selecting it in the customizer’s block list, nested under the Feature.

Setting What it does
Max width The largest width for the image, in pixels. Leave empty and it uses the built-in size — 120px on mobile, 220px on desktop.

That’s the only setting on the Feature itself. Everything else lives on the four nested pieces.

Piece Block Notes
Image Image Displayed in a square frame, scaled to fit whole.
Title Title The feature’s heading.
Description Rich text The supporting copy.
Buttons Buttons Optional call to action. Leave the button empty and nothing renders.
  • Keep headings to a similar length across the features in a row. The image sizes are fixed, so a two-line heading in one column and a one-line heading in the next leaves the descriptions misaligned.
  • Use Max width to shrink an oversized icon, not to enlarge a small one — scaling a small image up makes it blurry.
  • Buttons on every feature is usually too many. One call to action for the whole section, below the grid, generally reads better.
