Selling points
The “Why people stay on it” list on a product page — a heading over three or four one-line claims, each with a green tick.
The list is a rich text field, so you can either type a list straight in, or — much more usefully — connect it to the product’s Selling points metafield so every product shows its own claims.
Connecting it to the product metafield
Section titled “Connecting it to the product metafield”In the theme editor, click the database icon next to the Selling points
field and choose the product’s Selling points metafield
(custom.selling_points).
Once connected, edit the actual copy on each product:
Products → (the product) → Metafields → Selling points
Use the bulleted-list button and write one claim per bullet — each bullet becomes one ticked line.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Heading | The text above the list. Default “Why people stay on it”. Leave it empty to show the list with no heading. |
| Heading level | Which heading tag to use — H2, H3 (default), H4, or Paragraph. Doesn’t change how it looks, only the page’s document outline. |
| Selling points | The list itself. Connect it to the product metafield, or type a list directly. |
- One line per bullet. The design is built for short claims — a bullet that wraps to three lines will look wrong next to its tick.
- Write the bullets as a plain list. Bold, links and nested lists all technically work, but nothing in the design accounts for them.
- Heading level should sit below the product title. The product title is the page’s H1, so H3 is usually right here.
