List
A proper list — bullets or numbers — built from List Item blocks. Use it instead of typing bullets into a Rich text field when you want the theme’s checkmark or circled-number styling, or per-item icons.
Settings

| List Style | The marker style. For an unordered list: Default (a dot) or Checkmark. For an ordered list: Default (plain numbers) or Circled. |
The List Style dropdown swaps its options depending on List Type — you’ll only ever see the two that apply.
Blocks it holds
Section titled “Blocks it holds”Only List Item blocks. A new List starts with three of them. A List Item can’t be added on its own — it has to go inside a List.
- Use Ordered only when order matters — steps in a routine, a sequence of events. A set of product benefits is not ordered, and numbering it implies a ranking you probably don’t mean.
- Checkmarks read as claims. They’re right for “what’s included” or “what this supports”, and heavy-handed for a plain list of facts.
- Keep items parallel. Start every item the same way — all verbs, or all noun phrases. Mixed shapes make a list harder to scan than plain prose.
